I grew up at the beach in Australia and am now living with my American husband (JD) in Southern California.

We met on vacation in New Zealand and have always loved to travel. Having kids has slowed us down.... just a little.

Both kids have been back to Australia multiple times and a couple of cruises each and always want to know when we are going to the hotel again.... this is our story.

Kindergarten already...

This week we need to complete and submit paperwork for your youngest to start Kindergarten in August. It seems too soon and she seems so tiny, but I know she is ready for the increased social life and the academic challenges.

With the paperwork comes the reminder that I should stop what I am doing more often and go play with the kids, read them another story, play a game or sing a song.

Having been a working mum most of the kids lives I am slowly getting used to all this extra time we have together.
