Halloween in America is a big celebration, and much different to growing up on the Sunshine Coast in Australia.
First their was the preschool trip to the pumpkin patch and the fall festival at school, complete with pumpkin decorating.
This year our children are 4 and 6 and really got into the spirit of the day.Each of them had parties had school on Friday and wore their costumes to school.
Saturday afternoon we visited to local outdoor shopping center/mall and went trick or treating.
The whole celebration was complete with a Halloween party at a friends house on Saturday night, and the children's 1st time trick or treating in the dark. They had so much fun going door-to-door and seeing all of the decorations, and of course collecting candy/lollies.
