I grew up at the beach in Australia and am now living with my American husband (JD) in Southern California.

We met on vacation in New Zealand and have always loved to travel. Having kids has slowed us down.... just a little.

Both kids have been back to Australia multiple times and a couple of cruises each and always want to know when we are going to the hotel again.... this is our story.

Hunter's 1st Day of School August 2009


Hunter started 1st Grade in late August and is in a class with 4 friends from Kindergarten last year.


It was a bit of an adjustment being at school for 6 1/2 hours a day after only 3 1/2 hours in Kindergarten but he seems to be doing really well.


It would be nice if they had uniforms especially as he became brand conscious in Kindergarten!
